Course Overview

The Enhanced Confined Space Rescue Training for Safety Professionals course provides an in-depth exploration of advanced techniques and best practices for safety professionals involved in confined space rescue operations. This comprehensive program equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure safety during confined space entries and rescues.

Course Content

• This course aims to equip the participants with knowledge to implement and improve the following: –
  1. Legal compliance to WSH (confined Space) Regulations and SS568:2011 regards to rescue
  2. Types of Rescue Equipment Ropes, Tripods. Winches, ventilation system, SCBA etc
  3. PPE for rescuer
  4. Response time in emergency, Rescue team structure, Roles and responsibilities, safety coordination risk evaluation for rescue
  5. Develop a rescue plan and rescue techniques and method
  6. Rope knots and rigging methods equipment functionality ventilation causality management
  7. Self-rescue
  8. Entry methods
  9. Non-entry – vertical method
  10. Practical Assessment and written assessment
  11. Debrief
