Course Overview

The MEWP Safety Awareness Course for Supervisors (MEWP-S) aims to equip our supervisors with the necessary knowledge and skills to oversee MEWP operations effectively, enhancing their awareness of MEWP safety practices and enabling them to manage operations within the organization more effectively. .

Course Content

This course aims to equip the participants with knowledge to implement and improve the following: –

• Introduction
• Types of MEWPs and their Functions
• MEWP – Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment
• MEWP Pre-Operation Procedures and Inspections
• Safe MEWP Operation Practices
• Effective Communication and Supervision
• MEWP – Practical Demonstration (Boom Lift, Scissor Lift & Vertical Personnel Platform):
• Do’s and Don’ts of Safe Work Practices Demonstrated by Trainer
• Case Studies and
• Q&A Written Assessment

Course Duration

• 8 hrs including 45mins of Written Assessment

Teaching Methodology:Face to face classroom and practical demonstration by Trainer
