Course Overview
Understanding Code of Practice for Chief Executives and Board of Directors’ WSH Duties (UCOPC)
Company Directors include the Chief Executive or equivalent officer involved in executive decisions as well as activities on policy and decision-making related to the business affairs of the company, which are capable of affecting the company as a whole or a substantial part of it. They provide the leadership, vision, budgets, priorities and influence to implement safety and health in a workplace. This course aims to clarify the roles and duties of Chief Executives and Board of Directors related to workplace safety and health. The participants will learn the importance of complying with the WSH Act and this Code Of Practice. This course outlines reasonably practicable steps to prove they had exercised due diligence to prevent workplace accidents.

- WSH duties of top management
- The 4 principles and 17 measures for compliance
- Enhancing the WSH performance of the organization and the benefits
