1. • Recommended to have 2 years of working experience in any industry.
   • If the candidate has a recognised technical diploma, the recommendation of 2 years of working experience is not necessary.

Course Overview

On completion of this unit, learners will have the knowledge and application skills to manage indoor air quality effectively. This includes:

• Fundamental knowledge and skills in managing indoor air quality (IAQ).
• Identification and analysis of IAQ problems, conducting IAQ audits, and implementing control measures.
• Maintenance of cooling towers to prevent Legionnaire’s disease.
• Good practices and IAQ management programs.

Course Content

Participants will learn to:

• Analyse IAQ problems based on guidelines and legal requirements.
• Conduct IAQ audits and measure indoor air quality using standard methods.
• Suggest control measures to mitigate IAQ problems.
• Advise on the maintenance of water treatment programs used in cooling towers for Legionella control.
• Monitor IAQ in accordance with good practices and management programs.

• Duration: 28 hours, including a 3-hour assessment.
