Risk Management Refresher Course (RMRC)

RA Team members (with or without bizSAFE Level 2 certification). It is suitable for:
• WSH Officers, Managers, and Supervisors.
• RA Leaders and Team Members from all industries seeking to update their RM competencies.

Note: This refresher course is intended for knowledge update purposes only. It does not replace formal certifications (such as WSHCM/DRIMP/bizSAFE Level 2) or training required to meet the legal competency requirements for RM/RA Leaders or Workplace Safety and Health Officers.

Entry Requirement:

• This course is open to all personnel who are interested in learning more about Risk Management (RM) and Risk Assessment (RA). It is particularly beneficial for existing Risk Assessment team members, WSH professionals, or supervisors. Participants should have a basic understanding of Singapore WSH practices and previous exposure to risk assessment.

Course Overview:

• Risk Management Refresher Course (RMRC) provides an update on the legal requirements and systematic processes for implementing Risk Management (RM). It highlights the Third Revision (2021) of the Code of Practice, emphasizing the integration of terrorism threats, disease outbreaks, and mental well-being into workplace risk assessments.

• Topic 3: Hazard Identification and Scoping Methodologies
• Topic 4: Risk Assessment Methodology and 5×5 Matrix
• Topic 5: Risk Control, Implementation, and Continuous Review
• Topic 6: Communication, Documentation, and Post-Deployment Review
