This course is designed for Entry-Level Learners (Junior Draftsmen, Technical Assistants, Students) who need to create, edit, or technically review digital drawings and 3D models.
Entry Requirement:
- Basic computer literacy (file management/Windows OS). Understanding of basic geometry is helpful. Proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing).
Course Overview:
- A comprehensive 24-hour fast-track program covering the essentials of Computer-Aided Design. Learners will progress from basic UI navigation to creating complex 2D technical drawings and introductory 3D models, ensuring they can produce industry-standard documentation.
Course Content
- Topic 1: Getting Started: UI, Workspace Setup, and Navigation.
- Topic 2: Drawing Fundamentals: Lines, Polylines, Circles, and Precise Input.
- Topic 3: Editing Expertise: Modify tools (Offset, Trim, Mirror, Array).
- Topic 4: Drawing Organization: Advanced Layer management and Block creation.
- Topic 5: Annotation: Text styles, Tables, and Multi-leader callouts.
- Topic 6: Dimensioning & Constraints: Linear, Radial, and Angular dimensions.
- Topic 7: 3D Foundations: 3D Coordinate systems, Extruding, and Revolving.
- Topic 8: Output & Publishing: Layout viewports, Scaling, and PDF Plotting.

Duration: 2 Hours. - Individual Project Assignment: An independent technical project to be submitted via the EA Portal before the final assessment.

Overall Pass Mark: 50% combined score.
Weightage: Practical Assessment (35/100) and Individual Project (65/100).
