This course is primarily intended for WSH Officers, Safety Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators, and Managers responsible for the administration, approval, and supervision of high-risk work activities requiring a Permit-to-Work (PTW). It is essential for professionals in the Construction, Marine, and Manufacturing sectors.
Entry Requirement:
- Participants should have a fundamental understanding of workplace safety principles and be involved in managing safety systems. A basic comprehension of paper-based PTW workflows and WSH regulations is beneficial.
Course Overview:
- The EIPTW course provides a bridge between traditional safety protocols and modern electronic management. It equips participants with the expertise to transition to a robust e-PTW platform, focusing on enhanced accountability and site safety for high-risk activities like Work at Height and Confined Space Management.

- Topic 1: Introduction to PTW Systems (When PTW is needed; Sample PTW steps; Stages of PTW forms).
- Topic 2: What is e-PTW? (Advantages and Challenges of e-PTW) .
- Topic 3: Singapore Legal Requirements (WSH Construction, Shipbuilding, WAH, and Confined Space Regulations; Penalties) .
- Topic 4: Roles & Responsibilities (Occupier, Project Manager, Safety Assessor, Supervisor, and Workers) .
- Topic 5: e-PTW Workflow (Request, Risk Assessment, Authorization, Issuance, Execution, Monitoring, Closure, and Record Keeping) .
- Topic 6: Total WSH
